For my exhibition I have a clear idea of what i want my sculpture to look like and how I want it to be displayed. I want it to be the shape of a dome, to look as if the top half of a lolly has been chopped off horizontally and the top half has been left lying flat on the floor. I want it to be about 4ft wide so that it stands out from the other pieces of work. For the structure of the sculpture I'm going to use an umbrella with the stick part removed. I will cover the umbrella with paper, clay or modroc and then paint the lollipop wrapper details over the top. After this I will consider wrapping clear plastic around it. I also want to create a sculpture using actual sweets. I will either glue the sweets together to for a larger version of the sweet or display them on a canvas. I also plan to create some paintings and smaller sweet sculptures to be displayed on the walls around the big sculpture.
