There are many artists who will have painted portraits of Henry VIII and his wives and other royalty, my main focus when thinking about this is how the artist was probably told to make the person in the painting look nicer than they appear in real life. I think my project relates to old fashioned portraits because similarly to how people now edit photos of themselves to post on Instagram I think that historical artists would have been asked to make changes to their paintings to make the person look better. I also think that people now worship popular Instagram influencers similarly to old fashioned worshiping.
