Rina Dweck - Project face

Artist Rina Dweck changed her Facebook profile photo every day for a year, she would spend 2 hours creating the photo before uploading its a form of self expression. I find this project very interesting in relation to my own work because I often see people posting photos on Instagram every day to receive likes and comments for attention. However, the photos of Dweck don't conform to social norms like people on Instagram would try to. I find it interesting that Dweck spends 2 hours creating her photos because people will often spend such a long time editing photos to make themselves look perfect.
