Adam McDade artist talk

Adam McDade is student at the University of Sunderland, he is exploring contemporary western tattoo designing. He started tattooing in 2017 as a tattoo artist apprentice at triple six tattoo in Sunderland for experience and research. His tattoo artwork consists mainly line work inspired by his own line work portraits. He explores how tattoo needles and ink are replacing paint brushes in the art world as tattooing is a dominant form of mass consumption. For his artwork he uses his none dominant hand to draw then goes back in and edits it with dominant hand to create a new style. For his PHD he will continue to research over the next years.
