Wayne Thiebaud

Wayne Thiebaud is an American painter best known for his still life paintings of cakes, pies, pastries and toys that are sometimes painted from memory. His work is often grouped with the Pop art movement, however he considers himself old fashioned. Objects in his paintings are often outlines by multiple colours to create an effect similar to vibration.
